Creamy Cheesy Sausage Potatoe Casserole
This quick fix, classy, little side dish compliments just about any flavor of food you wish to pair it up with.Guaranteed to have your guest coming back for more. That is, if there's any of it left! Another creative recipe of my very own! Prep time: 10 minutes |Cook time: 25 minutes |Total time: 35 minutes
Servings: 9•9 Hashbrown Patties
•2 14 oz. pkg. of Smoked Turkey Sausage ( Cooked and Sliced into 1 in. discs)
•1 Batch of Creamy Cheesy Sauce
•1 cup(s) of Sour Cream
•4 ounce(s) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese ( Room Temp)
•1/4 cup(s) of Butter (Softened)
•2 1/2 cup(s) of Shredded Cheddar Cheese (Reserve 1 Cup for Topping)
•1/4 tsp. of Ground Mustard
•2 tbsp. of Minced Onion
•1 pinch of Unrefined Sea Salt
•1/2 tsp. of Ground Black Pepper
•1/2 cup(s) of Diced Scallion Tops (Garnish)
•1/2 cup(s) of Fresh Bacon Bits *From 6 Slices Fried Turkey Bacon (Garnish)
Steps
1.In small mixing bowl, combine first four ingredients and mix each one at a time.
2.Add in spices.
3.Mix well and set aside.
4.Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
5.Place hash brown patties on baking sheet sprayed with non-stick spray.
6.Top each patty with 1/4 cup cheesy sauce.
7.Then place 4-5 smoked sausage discs on each patty and top with a handful of reserved shredded cheese.
8.Cover with aluminum foil.
9.Place in oven and bake at 350 degrees for approx. 25 minutes
10.Remove from oven.
11.Top each patty with a handful of scallion tops and fresh bacon bits.
12.Serve on individual side plates.
