Fancy Deviled Eggs
This appetizer puts a new twist on an old classic, that everybody loves, deviled eggs. Serve these fancy deviled egg appetizers for any occasion, whether it be a birthday party, a picnic in the park or just because! Prep time: 15 minutes |Cook time: 15 minutes |Total time: 30 minutes |Servings: 12•12 Boiled Eggs
•1 tsp. of Olive Oil
•1 cup(s) of mayonnaise
•4 ounce(s) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
•2 tsp. of Dijon Mustard
•1 tsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar
•1 tsp. of Dill Weed
•2 tsp. of Horseradish
•1 tbsp. of Sugar
•1 tsp. of Salt
•2 tbsp. of Ground Walnuts
•1 For Garnish * Paprika, Zest of 1 Lemon, 2 tbsp. Diced Tomato Wedges
Steps
1.To boil eggs,place eggs in cold water to completely cover, bring to a rolling boil over high heat and time for 15 minutes.
2.Remove eggs from heat. Promptly, rinse with cold water to cool.
3.Add one teaspoon of Olive oil to water ( This will make it easier to shell the eggs )
4.Remove shells from eggs.Cut eggs in half lengthwise with a knife.
5.Carefully remove the yolks and place in medium sized bowl.
6.Reserve whites.
7.Mash yolks with fork.
8.Stir in Mayonnaise and Cream cheese. Combine spices and nuts.Mix well.
9.If you want to get really fancy, carefully place mixture into a pastry tube or otherwise, use a tablespoon to fill the eggs.
10.Garnish each egg with sprinkle of paprika,lemon zest and a diced tomatoe wedge. Enjoy!
