Spicy Shrimp Tart Share Tags: appetizer This dish is the perfect appetizer for any party! Prep time: 13 minutes | Cook time: 20 minutes | Total time: 33 minutes | Servings: 24 12 ounce(s) of Philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 cup(s) of unsalted butter
2 tbsp. of fresh lemon juice
1 cup(s) of flour
3/4 tsp. of kosher salt
1/4 tsp. of cumin
1 tsp. of fine chopped onion
1/2 tsp. of cayenne pepper
1/2 cup(s) of sour cream or plain yogurt
1 tbsp. of Worchester sauce
1 jalapeƱo pepper fine chopped with seeds
1 pound(s) of shrimp peeled and cooked
Steps
Mix the cream cheese and unsalted butter until smooth.
Add the flour and salt and mix until it forms a ball.
Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for at least two hours.
Roll out dough on floured surface 1/8 inch thick.
Cut out shapes and put in tart pan.
Prick with a fork to release steam during baking.
Bake for 17 minutes at 350 degrees
Brush with a white egg wash and bake for 2 minutes to keep from getting soggy.
Mix all the ingredients together except for shrimp.
Now add the shrimp.
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Fill the tarts with shrimp dip and serve.
