Spicy Cream Cheese Stuffed Frikadelles(Meatballs) Share Tags: appetizer This is a South African inspired meatball that is refered to as a frikadelle. A meatball with lots of flavor. Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 30 minutes | Total time: 45 minutes | Servings: 20 4 pound(s) of ground beef
4 cup(s) of spinach
2 tbsp. of pickled jalapenos(chopped)
1 tbsp. of Fresh minced garlic
1 med onion(chopped)
1 block philadelphia cream cheese
1/2 cup(s) of kraft shredded parmesan cheese
1/2 tsp. of chili powder
1 cup(s) of salsa
1 tsp. of pepper
1 tsp. of salt
2 tbsp. of canola oil
20 slices of bread
Steps
Heat oven to 400 degrees f.
cut up spinach.
chop onion
chop jalapenos
cut cream cheese into nickle size pieces
heat oil in medium saute pan
when saute pan is heated, add garlic, onions and spinach and saute until spinach is wilted(soft)
add jalapenos to mixture and cook for a min
add all ingredients from pot into ground beef
add salt, pepper, chili powder and parmesan cheese to ground beef and then mix it all in
form meatballs the size of golf balls and add a piece of philadelphia cream cheese to the center of the meatball.
place them in pan linned with bread and bake for thirty mins on 400 degrees f
