Liberty Red White and Blue Tart Shells With Candy Apple Salad Share Tags: dessert This is a "wow" recipe every time you serve it. I modified recipes from family members and added a fourth of July flare. the Philadelphia Cream Cheese in both the tart shell and candy apple salad make your taste buds jump off your tongue! Prep time: 45 minutes | Cook time: 12 minutes | Total time: 57 minutes | Servings: 24 1/2 cup(s) of Butter
4 ounce(s) of Cream Cheese
1/4 cup(s) of Dried Blueberries
1/4 cup(s) of Cherries
2 Red apples
2 Green apples
3 Caramel Chocolate Candy Bars
1 cup(s) of Pecans
1/2 cup(s) of Dried Blueberries
8 ounce(s) of Cream Cheese
1 cup(s) of Sugar
16 ounce(s) of Cool Whip
1 cup(s) of Flour
Steps
Red white and blue tart shells - Mix with mixer: Butter and cream cheese - Add flour, blueberries, and cherries - Mix together
Roll into 1 inch balls and press into bottom and sides of mini muffin pan
Bake at 350 until slightly brown on edges
Candy Apple Salad to Fill Tart Shells - Chop in small bite size pieces: Apples, candy bars, dried blueberries, and pecans. Mix together in bowl. Set aside
Mix with mixer 8 oz of cream cheese and 1 cup of sugar until blended. Fold in 16 oz of cool whip
Mix cream cheese mixture and chopped up apple mixture until blended together
Fill tart shells with candy apple salad. Decorate top with blueberries and/or cherries. YUM YUM YA
