Hot Strawberry and Cream Cheese Cake Share Tags: dessert, This recipe has been in our family for years, and it is the best cake I have ever tasted...Your friends and family will love it!!! And it is so easy to make and bake. Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 35 minutes | Total time: 50 minutes | Servings: 12 1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix
3 Large Eggs
1/3 cup(s) of Vegtable Oil
1 1/3 cup(s) of Water
2 Small Boxes of Strawberry Flavored Gelatin
8 ounce(s) of Original Philadelphia Cream Cheese
4 cup(s) of Frozen Sliced Strawberries
1 pound(s) of Box of Powdered Sugar
1 Stick of Butter or Margerine
Steps
Preheat Oven to 350*
Prepare a (14x10x2 inch Cake Pan) Spray with Baking Spray and Dust with Flour.
Get a Large Mixing Bowl.
Combine the following ingredients in Large Mixing Bowl: 1 Box of Yellow Cake Mix, 3 Large Eggs,1/3 cup of Vegtable Oil, 1 1/3 Cups of Water, and 1 Small Box of Strawberry Flavored Gelatin.
Mix all these ingredients together until batter is smooth and lump free.
Pour Cake Batter into your prepared cake pan and set aside for now.
Take 8 oz. of Philadelphia Cream Cheese and put in bowl and Microwave for 35 seconds, stir until it is a creamy consistancy.
Get a teaspoon a drop about 9 dobs about 2 inchs apart into the cake batter.
Using a fork, swirl each dob of Cream Cheese gently in a circular motion.
Put cake into preheated, 350* oven and bake for 35 minutes or until done.
Strawberry Sauce Steps
In a large sauce pan put the following ingredients:
4 Cups of the (THAWED) Frozen Sliced Strawberries
1 Stick of Butter or Margerine
1 Lb Box of Powdered Sugar
1 Small Box of Strawberry Flavored Gelatin
Cook this mixture over Medium Heat, stirring until all ingredients are mixed well together. Once mixture starts to bubble(boil) cook 5 minutes more and remove from heat
When cake is done, get a large two pronged fork and poke holes in cake all over from top to bottom.
Take 1 1/2 cups of Strawberry Sauce and set aside. Take the remaining Strawberry Sauce and get a Ladle and ladle this over the warm cake from top to bottom, saturating the entire cake.
Let cake sit for 15 minutes before serving.
Cut and serve with Strawberry Sauce you set aside and some whipped cream and.... ENJOY!!!!
