Gorgonzola Pear Tartlets Share Tags: appetizer These scrumptious bites are everything you want in an appetizer....a little sweet...a little salty...balanced with some creaminess and crunch! You will have happy faces and an empty platter in no time at your next party!!! Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Total time: 25 minutes | Servings: 6 2 medium pears
2 tbsp. of butter
1 tbsp. of brown sugar
3 ounce(s) of Philadelphia cream cheese
2 tbsp. of whipping cream
3 tbsp. of gorgonzola cheese crumbles
15 mini fillo shells
1/2 cup(s) of walnuts
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Peel and core pears. Dice pears into ½ inch pieces.
In a small saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar. Add diced pears and cook until fork tender.
In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, whipping cream, and gorgonzola cheese.
Add warm pears to creamy gorgonzola cheese mixture and combine.
Fill mini fillo shells with creamy pears.
Top each tartlet with a walnut.
Bake for 10 minutes. Serve warm!
