Easy Cheesy Mexican Pizza Share Tags: entree Easy Cheesy Mexican Pizza features Kraft Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese, salsa and cilantro to create a pizza sauce for a recipe that is not only delicious, but turns any family gathering into an activity as well as a delicious meal because everyone can make their own pizza. It's easy, it's CHEESY and a great family activity. Make it tonight and enjoy your own Philly Family FIesta! Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 17 minutes | Total time: 32 minutes | Servings: 4 1 8 oz. tub Kraft Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese
1 cup(s) of salsa (I prefer Taco Bell Brand)
4 tbsp. of fresh, chopped cilantro
4 9 inch tortillas
4 tbsp. of melted butter
1 8 oz. bag shredded mexican blend cheese (I prefer Kraft Four Cheese Mexican Blend)
1 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
1 medium fresh tomato, chopped in 1/4 inch cubes
1 cup canned jalapenos, drained
1 cup optional ingredients of choice: bacon, pepperoni, pineapple, artichokes, black olives, etc.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line 2 large cookie sheets with aluminum foil.
Spray cooking sheets with cooking spray.
Place 2 tortillas on each cookie sheet.
Spread melted butter evenly over the top of each tortilla and place in oven until lightly browned (about 10 minutes).
Place Kraft Philadelphia Whipped Cream Cheese in microwavable bowl and put in microwave for about 35 seconds or until "saucy".
Remove cream cheese from microwave and blend in salsa and cilantro until smooth and creamy.
Remove lightly browned tortillas from oven and spread Philadelphia Cream Cheese/salsa/cilantro mixture evenly over each tortilla.
Spread shredded mexican cheese blend over each tortilla.
Invite your family to prepare their own individualized pizza to their liking! (this is optional, if you prefer to prepare them yourself).
Add black beans, tomatoes and jalapenos to taste (or any optional ingredients of your choice).
Return topped pizzas back in the 350 degree oven for 7-10 minutes or until cheese has melted.
Slice each pizza into 4 slices and enjoy!
Serving Suggestion: Fresh fruit or green salad and ice cold lemonade.
