Charleston Chicken Casserole Share Tags: entree One of my family's favorites! It has been handed down through my family and its incredibly easy, delicious, and great for family dinners, parties, and really anything else! Easy to save time by preparing other ingredients while the chicken boils! I hope yall enjoy this as much as my family! Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 30 minutes | Total time: 50 minutes | Servings: 6 6 skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite size cubes
1 can cream of celery soup
1 1/2 cup(s) of sour cream
4 ounce(s) of Philadelphia cream cheese
2 tbsp. of poppy seeds
1 package (sleeve) of ritz crackers
1 stick butter
Steps
Bring chicken pieces to a boil and cook for 10-15 minutes/until done
Drain chicken pieces
While the chicken is cooking, you can prepare the following ingredients to save time!
Mix the cream of celery soup, sour cream, and cream cheese in a bowl
Crush the crackers in a large plastic bag
Melt the butter
Place chicken in a 13x9in casserole dish
Spread the soup/sour cream/cream cheese mixture over the chicken
Sprinkle 1 tbsp of the poppy seeds over the mixture
Spread the crushed crackers evenly on top of the casserole
Evenly pour the melted butter over the crackers
Sprinkle with the remaining 1 tbsp poppy seeds
Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until brown and bubbly! ENJOY!
