Zebra-licious Fruit Tarts You name the occasion, it is there for my family. This recipe came about because I was looking for an elegant fruit tart to make for a dinner my family was having. Every single recipe I found was completely confusing and took hours to prepare. So, I got to baking and came up with this absolutely delcious zebra-licious fruit tart! Enjoy, it's so easy and people will think you are a pro! Prep time: 20 minutes |Cook time: 14 minutes |Total time: 34 minutes |Servings: 10•1 roll of refrigerated sugar cookie dough
•1 box of instant vanilla pudding mix
•1 3/4 cup(s) of cold milk
•1/2 cup(s) of softened Philadelphia Cream Cheese!!!!
•3/4 cup(s) of frozen whipped topping (thawed)
•2 cup(s) of assorted fresh fruit (strawberries, kiwi, blueberries, raspberries, etc.)
•1/2 cup(s) of milk chocolate chips (melted)
Steps
1.Preheat oven to 350*F.
2.Cut cookie dough into 10 pieces.
3.In the bottom of greased mini tart pans (or greased big muffin cups) push the dough inside and up edges about 1/2 inch.
4.Bake for 14-16 minutes or until light golden brown.
5.While the tarts are cooling, prepare the filling by whisking the jello pudding mixture into the cold milk as directed on the package.
6.Beat in the softened cream cheese until combined. Fold in whipped topping.
7.When the tarts are cool, remove from the tart pans or big muffin cups.
8.Fill with the Creamy Filling (thank you Philadelphia!!) and top with the fresh sliced fruit.
9.Melt the chocolate chips in a ziploc bag for 30 second intervals until melted.
10.Snip the end of the bag, and drizzle the tarts with the chocolate to form your ZEBRA STRIPES!
11.Serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
