PHILA - MISU!! classic tiramisu and made it better than the traditional one!
Prep time: 20 minutes |Total time: 20 minutes |Servings: 12•16 ounce(s) of Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
•16 ounce(s) of heavy cream
•1 cup(s) of confectioners sugar
•1 tsp. of vanilla
•1 cup(s) of freshly brewed espresso coffee or coffee of choice
•1/8 cup(s) of dark rum (optional) or your favorite choc/coffee liquore
•3 pkgs. lady fingers
•4 ounce(s) of semi-sweet chocolate block or bar
Steps
1.Beat cream cheese until smooth.
2.Add heavy cream, conf. sugar, and vanilla.
3.Beat to medium peaks.
4.Spray 9 x 13 baking dish with veg. oil spray.
5.If using rum, mix together coffee and rum in small ball--if not using run, skip this step.
6.Place one layer of lady fingers on bottom of dish.
7.Brush them with the coffee or coffee mixture.
8.Spread cream cheese mixture over the lady fingers.
9.Shave or grate chocolate over the cream.
10.Repeat same process for two more layers ending up the chocolate over cream.
11.Can sit for minutes, hours or days in the frig....gets better as you go!
