Peanut Butter Oreo Balls Share Tags: dessertPeanut Butter Oreo Balls are a decadent, rich, delicious dessert that has a slightly crunchy outer chocolate coating and a gooey, yummy center made up of crushed Oreo cookies, peanut butter, and Philadelphia cream cheese. Prep time: 2 hours 5 minutes |Cook time: 10 minutes |Total time: 2 hours 15 minutes |Servings: 3•2 cup(s) of semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
•8 ounce(s) of softened or whipped Philadelphia cream cheese
•18 ounce(s) of package of Oreo cookies, crushed
•2 cup(s) of semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
•1 tbsp. of shortening
Steps
1.Mix Philadelphia cream cheese with electric mixer until fluffy.
2.Add the crushed Oreos and peanut butter and beat on high until well mixed.
3.Cover and chill for at least 2 hours in the freezer.
4.Next, roll Oreo cookie mix into one inch Oreo Balls.
5.Then melt the chocolate chips and shortening with a double boiler or in the microwave.
6.Dip the Oreo Balls completely into the melted chocolate using tongs or a toothpick.
7.Place on a cookie sheet covered with wax paper.
8.Put cookie sheet in the refrigerator until chocolate hardens.
