Sweet-N-Savory Brie Squares Share Tags: appetizer, appetizers week 2 The is a simple but amazing delicious appetizer that I came up with especially for the RWOP! It is a little bit sweet and a whole lot savory! You can serve it warm or at room temperature so it is perfect for any occasion! So get to the store grab some philly and get cooking Ya'll! Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 15 minutes | Total time: 25 minutes | Servings: 6 1 Refrigerated thin pizza crust
2 Sweet yellow onions halved and sliced
1 tbsp. of Minced fresh garlic (3 cloves)
3 tbsp. of Brown suger
1/8 tsp. of salt
4 1/2 ounce(s) of Diced prosciutto
5 ounce(s) of Brie cheese rind removed softned
4 ounce(s) of Philadelphia cream cheese softned
1 tbsp. of Olive oil
1 tbsp. of Butter
1/2 tsp. of White wine vinegar
Steps
Heat oven to 400 degrees, and bake pizza crust on a greased cookie sheet for 5 minutes.
In a hot saute pan add olive oil and butter when melted add onions, garlic, salt, brown sugar, and white wine vinegar
Saute onions until caramelized approximately 6-8 minutes.
In a medium bowl combine brie and Philadelphia Cream Cheese until smooth.
Spread the brie and Philadelphia Cream Cheese evenly on the cooked thin crust.
Spread the caramelized onions and prosciutto evenly over the brie and Philadelphia Cream Cheese
Bake at 400 degrees for 5 minutes until nice and bubbly.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
