Supreme Chicken Divan Share Tags: entree, supreme chicken divan Chicken casserole featuring potato,leeks, chicken,and Philapdelphia cream cheese. Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 20 minutes | Total time: 40 minutes | Servings: 8 32 ounce(s) of frozen hash brown potato diced or shredded
8 ounce(s) of Philadelphia cream cheese soften
1 1/2 pound(s) of chicken breast
5 tbsp. of flour
14 ounce(s) of chicken broth
1 cup(s) of milk
2 tbsp. of dry white wine or applejuice
1/2 tsp. of thyme
14 ounce(s) of broccoli florets
1 cup(s) of parmesan cheese divided
2 tsp. of dijon mustard
1 large sliced leek
1/4 cup(s) of mayonnaise
Heat oven to 375 degrees
Place hash browns in greased 9x13 baking dish and place in oven to warm. Or for faster heating place hash browns in microwave to warm then place in baking dish.
Lightly brown chicken breasts,cut into bitesize pieces and set aside
Slice leek and saute in olive oil for 3 min until soft, not brown
Coat the leek with 5 tbsp. of flour
Add chicken broth,milk, white wine, thyme,salt and pepper.Bring to a light simmer.
Add mayonnaise,dijon mustard and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Add broccoli and return to simmer. If broccoli frozen, preheat in microwave for faster cooking
Add cooked chicken
Salt and pepper prewarmed hash browns and mix in soften cream cheese
Now pour the chicken mixture over the hash brown layer and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
Bake at 375 for 20-30 min. Top should be golden brown
