Seafood heaven on roasted cabbage Share Tags: entree If there is heaven on earth, well, this is it. The octopus, calamari, crab and shrimp bathed in a tasty and tangy onion and chive cream cheese sauce will be your heaven for lunch time. This cream cheese sauce delivers a warm, gooey texture full of healthy spices such as coriander and mustard, which are identified in studies to be preventive against cancer. I serve my seafood heaven of roasted cabbage which is the best way to get the best out of the cabbage. The cabbage gets greener, crispier, tastier. Bon appetite. Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 20 minutes | Total time: 35 minutes | Servings: 4 1 pkg. 8oz. philadelphia cream cheese onions and chives 1/3 less fat
2 tbsp. of of mustard
2 limes( juice)
1 tbsp. of of garlic powder
2 tbsp. of of lemon and pepper
1 tbsp. of of coriander
2 tbsp. of of capers and juices
1 pound(s) of seafood mix(calamari, octopus, crab and shrimp) pre-cooked
1 head of green cabbage
1 tbsp. of olive oil
1/2 cup(s) of panko breadcrumbs
1/2 pound(s) of of bacon cut into chunks
1 bunch of little leafs of cilantro to garnish
Steps
Pre-heat your oven at 400F degrees, pan fry your bacon, drain it and combine it with panko breadcrumbs, and set it a side.
To make the sauce, mix the cream cheese, mustard, garlic powder, lemon and pepper seasoning, coriander, capers and juices combine, then add the seafood mix.
Put the seafood and cream cheese mixture into a baking casserole or pan, top it off with the bacon and panko breadcrumbs and bake for 15 min. or until the sauce starts bubbling.
Get ready your cabbage by cutting it into long, medium thick strips, put the cabbage into a baking pan, pour some olive oil, add salt and pepper and with your hands make sure the olive oil is on every strip of cabbage. Bake the cabbage for 10 min or until it gets greener.
To serve this dish grab some cabbage and put it on a plate and then get some seafood heaven on top of the cabbage. Finish all of with some cappers and cilantro. Enjoy!!!
