Pupu's Philly Truffles Share Tags: appetizer I started out with one truffle and ended up with several variations using various Philadelphia cream cheese spreads which I paired with an array of breads, fruits and veggies. It's an entire party! The combinations are endless. Prep time: 25 minutes | Total time: 25 minutes | Servings: 12 8 ounce(s) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread
8 ounce(s) of crumbled Gorganzola cheese
4 tsp. of finely grated onion with juice
1 tsp. of Worchestershire sauce
1 dash hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. of freshly ground black pepper
1 cup(s) of crisp crumbled bacon
Mix first six ingredients.
Roll cheese mixture into 3/4 inch round balls.
Roll ball in bacon
Serve with grapes, apple and pear slices
Variation #1
Substitute Philadelphia Sundried Tomato & Basil Cream Cheese Spread, 8 oz. crumbled feta cheese and roll in 1 cup chopped fresh parsley
Serve with Kalamata olives, cherry tomatoes and scored cucumber slices
Variation #2
Substitute Philadelphia Salmon Philadelphia Cream Cheese Spread, 8 oz. crumbled goat cheese and roll in l cup finely chopped fresh dill
Serve with baguette slices toasted with olive oil and an assembly of your favorite crackers
Variation #3
Substitute Philadelphia Spinach & Artichoke Cream Cheese Spread, 8 oz. goat cheese and roll in 1 cup chopped pecans
Serve with dried plums, apricot and dates
