Philly Potato Soup Share Tags: entree I have made Potato Soup for my family for years and decided to cheese it up a bit. This is a new recipe that I just created and my mom tried it and really likes it! Prep time: 10 minutes | Cook time: 35 minutes | Total time: 45 minutes | Servings: 8 1 pound(s) of Ground Burger
1/4 cup(s) of Chopped Onion
4 cup(s) of Water
1 tsp. of Salt
1 tsp. of Pepper
2 Large Potato
2 cup(s) of Bisquick Mix
2/3 cup(s) of Milk
12 ounce(s) of Evaporated Milk
4 ounce(s) of Philadelphia Cream Cheese
4 ounce(s) of Shreaded Monterey Jack Cheddar Cheese
Steps
Brown Burger and Onion in a large pot.
Drain
Add Water, Salt and Pepper and Potato
Boil for 10 minutes.
Meanwhile make dumplings by combining Bisquick Mix and Milk until soft dough forms.
Drop by spoonfuls onto boiling soup. Reduce heat, cook uncovered 10 minutes, cover, cook 10 minutes longer.
Scoop dumplings off of soup into seperate bowl, set aside.
Add Evaporated Milk.
Add Philadelphia Cream Cheese and Shreaded Cheese.
Serve hot with dumplings on the side or on top of soup.
