Grouper with tomatoes and peppers cheese sauce Share Tags: entree The cheese sauce makes this delicious fish entree, and done under 30 minutes! Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 6 minutes | Total time: 21 minutes | Servings: 4 2 cup(s) of Canola oil
1 1/2 cup(s) of flour
1 tbsp. of Old bay seasoning
1/4 tsp. of salt and pepper
1 pound(s) of Grouper filet cut in 4 pieces
1 tbsp. of Olive oil
1 tbsp. of butter
1/2 cup(s) of green bell pepper
1/2 cup(s) of yellow pepper chopped small
1/4 cup(s) of red onion finely chopped
1 small red tomatoe chopped small
1 small green tomatoe chopped small
1 juice of a small lime
4 ounce(s) of original Philadelphia cream cheese
1/4 cup(s) of Kraft sharp finely shredded cheese
2 tbsp. of milk
1 parsley for garnish
Steps
Heat up your oil to 375 degrees
in a bowl mix, flour,old bay seasoning and your salt and pepper.
In a seperate bowl add your milk and dip your pieces of fish in the milk and then in the flour mixture to coat well on both sides repeat for all 4 pieces, then add to oil and fry 3 minutes on each side.
While your fish is cooking to a different frying pan add olive oil and butter on medium high heat
To the pan with olive oil and butter add, your peppers and onion cook for 2 minutes then add your tomatoes stir for a minute to heat through tomatoes.
Check on your fish and turn after 3 minutes.
In the pan with your tomatoes and pepper mixture add 4 oz philadelphia cream cheese, milk and shredded sharp cheddar cheese, mix until all melted about 1 minute
Remove sauce from heat and also remove fish from frying oil and drain on paper towel.
Next place fish on plate and top with tomatoe & pepper cheese sauce, garnish with fresh parsley.
You may just use one type of peppers and one type of tomatoes and also any type of onions you like make it your own!!
