Grandmom's Freedom Birthday Dessert Share Tags: dessert This is a dessert dear to my heart. My Grandmother, was a very dear lady. This is dessert that brings so many special memories and great taste to mind. Great to bring to the upcoming Memorial Day Barbeques and create your own special memories. Prep time: 50 minutes | Cook time: 35 minutes | Total time: 1 hour 25 minutes | Servings: 12 1 Angel Food Cake Mix and the ingredients it calls for on the back of the box
8 ounce(s) of Philly Cream Cheese
2 Packets of KRAFT Dream Whip
1 cup(s) of Light Cream or Half & Half
1 tsp. of Vanilla
1 cup(s) of Confectioners Sugar
1 Can of Deep Red Cherry Pie Filling
Steps
Make the Angel Food Cake according to the directions on the back of the box (placing batter in oblong pan)
Let cake cool while you are making the toppings (sometimes I place in the frerigerator to speed up the cooling process)
Mix Philly Cream Cheese and Confectioners Sugar together and spread on top of Cake
Mix two packets of Dream Whip, 1 tsp. of Vanilla, and 1 cup of Light Cream together until stiff peaks form
Place this Dream Whip mixture on top of the Philly Cream Cheese mixture on cake
Decoratively Pour the Cherry Pie Filling on Top
Serve and Create Your Own Special Family/Friend Memories
