Chicken & Cashew Nuts

Serves 4

300 g chicken breast thinly sliced
1 cup fried cahsew nuts
5 spring onions chopped
1 medium onion thickley sliced
2 chillies chopped
2 cloves of gralic crushed
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tbs of whiskey
2 tbs oyster sauce
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs fish sauce
1 tbs brown sugar
2 tbs oil for cooking
1 tsp chinese 5 spices

** Important **

When using fresh vegetables and herbs, make sure they are washed thoroughly and drained.


Heat oil in wok and add garlic. Stir fry for 1/2 minute then add chicken and cook for a few more minutes. Add onions and chiili. Continue cooking for a few minutes. Add stock and stir to combine. Add remainder of ingredients (apart from cashew nuts and spring onions) and cook for a few more minutes. Add cashew nuts and spring onions and stir-fry briefly. Serve with rice.
