Caramel Apple Pizza Share Tags: dessert, dessert week 8 This sweet, rich, creamy-crunchy dessert will take you back to your childhood. It’s reminiscent of carnivals, fairs, and boardwalks of yesteryear. Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 25 minutes | Total time: 45 minutes | Servings: 12 1 package, 16.5 oz. refrigerated sugar cookie dough
8 ounce(s) of Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup(s) of brown sugar
1/4 cup(s) of creamy or crunchy peanut butter
2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. of cinnamon
1/2 tsp. of cardamom
3 cored and thinly sliced apples
2/3 cup(s) of caramel ice cream topping/syrup, divided
1/2 cup(s) of coarsely chopped peanuts
Steps
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, F.
Flatten cookie dough to ¼” on a well-greased pizza pan or cookie sheet.
Bake 20-25 minutes until light golden brown.
Combine cream cheese, sugar, peanut butter, 1/4 cup of caramel syrup, and vanilla, mix well.
Spread mixture over the baked cookie dough.
Place sliced apples in a circular fashion over the cream cheese mixture.
Drizzle remaining syrup over the entire pizza and sprinkle the peanuts over the pizza.
Slice and serve.
