Apple Pie Parfait Share Tags: dessert All the comforts of a baked apple pie in minutes! In this dessert, warm, fried granny smith apples are layered between vanilla cinnamon cream and a topping of shortbread cookies, pecans and caramel! Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 10 minutes | Total time: 30 minutes | Servings: 2 2 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and diced
2 tbsp. of butter (for frying apples)
4 ounce(s) of Philadelphia cream cheese
4 ounce(s) of cool whip
1 tbsp. of Instant vanilla pudding, unprepared
1 tsp. of apple pie spice
1 tsp. of vanilla extract
6 shortbread cookies
1/4 cup(s) of pecans, chopped
1/2 cup(s) of caramel topping
Steps
Melt butter in a saucepan
Add chopped apples and fry on medium heat until tender. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, add cream cheese and mix until fluffy.
Add in cool whip, vanilla pudding, apple pie spice and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
In a small bowl, break up the short bread cookies.
Add in pecans & caramel. Mix until combined
In a dessert glass add a layer of cream mixture, then a layer of apples and last add a layer of cookie mixture.
Serve & enjoy!
